The Salteen Story
बादाम — हर माँ की पहली पसंद। Kashmiri almonds — the prestige nut of Indian nutrition and our Nourish Laddu.
Every Indian mother soaks almonds overnight and feeds them to her children in the morning. This is not a trend — it is a tradition that stretches back thousands of years, rooted in the Ayurvedic understanding of badam as a brain tonic, a strength-builder, and a premium nourishing food.
At Salteen, we use Kashmiri almonds in our Nourish Dry Fruit Ladoo — the same almonds that have been traded along the Silk Route for centuries, prized for their thin skin, rich oil content, and distinctive flavour. These are soaked, peeled, and incorporated whole into our laddu preparation.
Our Nourish Laddu is, in many ways, a tribute to this Indian nutritional tradition — a sweet preparation that is genuinely good for you, made with ingredients that generations of Indian mothers have trusted.
In our house, the first thing any child received every morning was a soaked badam. That belief in almond as brain food is what went into our Nourish Laddu.

Where It Comes From
🏔️ Jammu & Kashmir — Kashmiri Almonds
The finest almonds in India come from the valleys of Jammu & Kashmir — particularly the Budgam and Pulwama districts where almond orchards produce thin-skinned, oil-rich nuts with a distinctive mild flavour. We source Kashmiri almonds directly from J&K suppliers, selecting Grade A whole almonds with intact skin and maximum oil content.
